The Jewish people as a whole will be its own Messiah. It will attain world domination by the dissolution of other races...and by the establishment of a world republic in which everywhere the Jews will exercise the privilege of citizenship. In this New World Order the Children of Israel...will furnish all the leaders without encountering opposition..." (Karl Marx in a letter to Baruch Levy, quoted in Review de Paris, June 1, 1928, p. 574)

Marx was himself an ethnic Jew and originally a Lutheran (his father was a Lutheran pastor) that eventually fell away and became a state atheist. He first learned anti-Semitism as a Lutheran reading works such as Luther's 'On the Jews and Their Lies.'
The Enlightenment made possible the growth of secular anti-Semitism, which flourished during the 19th century. Some argue that Marx was the first person of notability to popularize the term "Jewish problem" due to their peculiar culture which kept them a separate people beholden to no nation or people but their own. Marx believed in a forced policy of assimilation. Basically he wanted to strip them of their religion and merge them into whatever state they lived in through grevious taxation and even "the guillotine" when necessary.
Liberty and freedom for all wasn't even in his vocabulary for those that insisted on believing in God or got in the way of his own utopian ideal of an atheist state gotten by way of proletarian revolution.

Anti-semitism... just another form of racial and cultural discrimination. Views such as these are counter-productive to the modern Socialist movement as they turn potential supporters off and reinforce the public's negative stereotypes about the movement and the party. Not to mention it's just ugly.

After reviewing the complaint and researching the topical, faith, culture, heritage seem to be a reoccurring topics under socialism. While there is nothing wrong with any of these topics, it is encouraged that we be respectful and considerate in exploring them. Everyone has a personal and family history and it is unlikely anyone would want to have their faith, culture, heritage insulted. Treat others as you yourself wish to be treated.
There is a board open at this time regarding faith and socialism. Upon request, boards for culture and heritage too, can be opened.
As for what is "True", it is encouraged that a review of the book German Ideology by Karl Marx be read since he authored his opinion on this long before many people started using the term.
