Comradely greetings Earchiel, welcome to ASP Forums. OK has a long standing, in part, from its past in socialist history with the early Appeal to Reason newspaper and Upton Sinclair legacy. Please feel free to join all ASP networks.

Thank you

I am currently reading Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle". I hope this website will grow in membership and help in uniting the socialist movement in the united states so that we can start making a serious impact in politics. I know a little about web programming and site administration, let me know if you need any help.

That is a great book. I have the uncensored version which paints a vivid picture of the reality of that time. My fear is now the back sliding we are doing in America on those likewise issues as far as labor getting screwed and the poverty level, not to mention immigrants and their treatment. History repeats its self from those who have not learned it.

On the basics, I might need your help sometime soon in expanding our network. First I'll have to get up a few more dollars. I tend to use capital against itself as a weapon of self-distruction to aid in its fallacy.

I am Brother Robert, a Franciscan who has accepted being National Co-Director of the League for Industrial Democracy. One of the projects we are working on, is to honor the contributions made by Upton Sinclair Mutual Aide Fund. This fund in honor of Sinclair will be a working fund to provide seed money to new organizing efforts, promote worker based initiiatives and help struggling democratic socialists run as candidates. Please feel free to contact me, if you would like to actively support this effort.

Hi Earchiel. I've enjoyed reading and replying to your posts. It's quite a discussion and we all learn from it when we agree and when we disagree. Welcome and it is nice to meet you.
